You may not have the necessary fonts installed for your browser.

Windows 2000 / XP
- Obtain Padauk.ttf and download it to a temporary location on your harddrive.
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and open the Fonts folder.
- Drag and drop the file into the newly opened window
- Come to this page again and press "View Sample Text" to verify that text now appears in the new type-face.

Font installation instructions

Windows 2000 / XP

Script display issues
Windows XP
If the text displayed under "Your computer" appears like the image next to "Script not supported" you may need to install additional components.
These instructions require Administrator privileges and a Windows XP install CD. If you do not have Administrative access, please consult with your local IT Support.
- Go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Language. If you do not see "Regional and Language Options," go to Control Panel -> Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options -> Regional and Language Options -> Language.
- Check the "Install files for complex scripts and right-to-left languages" option, then click "OK".
- Follow the instructions on the screen. When complete, you may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
Mac OS X
The Burmese script is currently unable to display on Mac OS X. If you are using an Intel
Mac and do not have access to a PC, look into installing ies4osx
to run Internet Explorer in an emulator or using Apple's Boot Camp or a virtual machine such as Parallels Desktop or
VMWare Fusion to run Windows XP.
Please press the "View Sample Text" button to verify that Burmese is displaying correctly.
