Font installation instructions
Note: The following fonts only need to be installed if your computer has failed the above test.
Windows 2000 / XP
- Obtain Jiret.ttf and download it to a temporary location on your harddrive.
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and open the Fonts folder.
- Drag and drop the file into the newly opened window
- Come to this page again and press "View Sample Text" to verify that text now appears in the new type-face.
Mac OS X
- Obtain Jiret.ttf and download it to a temporary location on your harddrive.
- Double click the file to open it in Font Book, then click "Install Font"
Please press the "View Sample Text" button to verify that Amharic is displaying correctly.
